This umbrella is more solidly built than other golf umbrellas that I've had. The trade-off is that the center bar does not collapse when you fold it up, so it's not as compact to carry or store. I think it's worth it to have an umbrella that can stand up to a little wind. The opening mechanism works nicely. I would recommend this umbrella.
